Minister Murphy was born May 26th, 1954 in McCurtain County, in Ida Bell, OK. He attended grade school from 1960-1968. He later attended Ida Bell Grey High School until 1972 when he graduated. While my father was very inspiring in his life until his death in 1968, He was raised by his mom most of my life. Times were hard, but there was peace within his home and he was taught to love Jesus. His mom trained him in the ways he should live his life, in hope that when he became a man he would remember it.
God called him into the ministry at the early age of 17. His mother’s prayer and her teaching lingered on the altar of his heart and God called him to spread Good News! He is the proud father of 5 children and 18 grandchildren. He married the woman in his life in 1983 and to this day she is still the apple of his eye! He is a proud member and Minister at Greater Cornerstone Church under divine leadership.
In these trying times of depression and adversity the devil is seeking to destroy peace between our countries and among our brothers and sister, therefore we need to continue to trust in God who has always been on the frontline of battle to those who believe and trust in Him. God promised in Leviticus 26:6 "to grant peace in the land and we will lie down and no one will make us afraid. God promised to remove the savage beast in the land and the sword won’t pass through your country."
