Born to LC. McLaughlin Sr and Essie Mae Riley in Mound Bayou, MS on May 3rd, 1974, Minister McLaughlin has 4 sisters and one brother. He is the oldest son of six siblings. Minister McLaughlin received his education at Brooks Elementary School and Broad Street High School in Shelby, MS. He was the first to graduate college in his family, with certifications in carpentry, barber/stylist, and computer information. He graduated top of his class. Minister McLaughlin has 3 children, Quenterious 16, Alexis 12, and Tyler 4. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in October 1998 and was called to ministry in 2002. Tired of running from his calling for 5 years, Minister McLaughlin humbly yielded and accepted his call to ministry on June 1, 2007. His walk in Christ has been a challenge, but with patience, persistence and prayer it has also been fulfilling as he refused to give it up. On April 10, 2010 L.C. McLaughlin gained an awesome asset to his life and ministry as he joined in marriage with Mattie Oakey, a woman of God and a seasoned intercessor. In 2011, Minister L.C. McLaughlin received his Ordination under the leadership of Pastor Willard L. Jones and continues serving in ministry at Greater Cornerstone Church.
